eleven!!!

My little guy turned eleven! Wow!!! Where does the time go??? We sterted his day with some special pancakes, and his favorite almond syrup :)

And later threw in a few presents...

Every year I try to get or make a shirt with his age on it, so I was super excited to find this one! He loves dragons, so the instant I saw it I thought of him, and knew it would be perfect :)

Later, we celebrated with pizza and peach dumplings (instead of birthday cake) He's not so fond of cake, so last year it was apple dumplings, and this year he asked for peach, so we decided to give it a try. They were so yummy, but I think the apple ones are a little bit better.

On the weekend we had a party with his buddies. We set up the fire pit, and roasted hot dogs, played games, and then made banana boats. He wanted to play in the evening - old school games like capture the flag and kick the can - it was wonderful! We had so much fun watching them run around outside, and hearing their peals of laughter!!!

Happy birthday little man! Thank you for 11 wonderful, happy years!!! Your smile and sweet sense of humor are such a blessing to us all!
